I was at the Stockbridge Market this afternoon for their lovely paella, toe-tapping music, and great meats when I saw (it was hard to miss) a stall full of hi vis goodies. I rushed over as I knew it just had to be bikeable.

Only in operation for a few weeks, Lorna has created Day Glow Doris – a lovely line of cycling jackets that are both practical and pretty dang cute.  She started Day Glow Doris because she wanted to wear hi vis on the road to be safe but also dreaded looking like she was either entering the Tour de France or going to work on a construction site. As her website says, ‘I couldn’t find anything I liked, so I decided to make something.’

It was great to chat with her and her friend about creating something practical that also embraces women’s different body types and styles. Creativity is the ultimate bikeable accessory, wouldn’t you agree? Plus, all her products are made in the UK.
