It’s been a tough few weeks of Edinburgh weather which makes cycling a unpleasant – often leaving shoes and tights soaking wet all day.
While shopping at Decathlon for a wet suit for some surfing escapades, I stumbled upon my new favourite cycling accessory – the perfect rain cape.
This is light, surprisingly feminine (without being pink, folks!), inexpensive, and works like a charm. It’s designed very well – with clear ‘windows’ on the sides of the hood so can easily look behind you when your hood is up. There are straps which connect the skirt to your legs and easily cover your knees – what I find get the coldest. It all folds into itself so I can throw into my bag and use when I need it.
At at easy £25, this is my kind of cycling gear.
