…or maybe more like the red circle rug.
On Thursday, I get the amazing opportunity be on the TEDx University of Edinburgh stage to talk about the story of Penny in Yo’ Pants. It’s been quite a journey so far and I’m so grateful to those that have been so supportive through the whole process. And it’s been quite a process, let me tell you.
During practice today, Steve (an amazing guy who is actually another speaker) and I were reflecting that it feels like we are in a relationship with our talks and last night, his talk slept on the couch. It’s so true. There have been moments of total bliss and some of those ‘what am I doing?!?’ moments but overall – it’s been incredibly rewarding and I can’t wait to share it on Thursday.
In the spirit of our practices, Steve and I made a short film in the lead up to Thursday. We hope you enjoy it!

Wow. This is amazing. Hope it was a good one. We have TED in my city and it saddens me that they only invite the elites.
What city are you in? Some of the local TEDxs are really accessible!
I’m from Cebu city in the Philippines. They aren’t so accessible. 😦
